ISLAMABAD: Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa Wednesday said that the allegations leveled by Mansoor Ijaz against Asif Ali Zardari were baseless, adding that Husain Haqqani's resignation set a good example and investigation regarding accusation in memo scandal should be carried out.Talking to media after addressing 11th convocation of Jinnah Women University, Governor Punjab said that American think thanks among various other people already termed the accusation leveled against Zardari as unfounded.
Khosa hailed Prime Minister's decision to hold transparent inquiry in the issue. He said the memo is controversial because it didn't carry signature of anyone.
