Zardari needs long time to become leader: Naheed

LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party leader Naheed Khan claimed here on Sunday that President Zardari needed a long time to become a leader. Interacting with media men on the occasion of a Valima reception of a party worker's son, Naheed Khan said those calling the shots in PPP were those who neither had any knowledge of the party's manifesto nor of its ideology. She described the Prime Minister's statement of 'forgiving Musharraf' as extremely irresponsible, but added that there was nothing wrong with demands for new provinces. "The issue of new provinces should have resolved in the 18th amendment." Naheed Khan told the parliamentarians and party workers that instead of quitting the party they should wage their struggle by remaining associated with the party.
