Authenticity of BBC report highly questionable: ISPR DG

RAWALPINDI - ISPR Director General Athar jAbbas has strongly rejected a recent BBC report' Secret Pakistan', by a presenter Nick Gowing , accusing Pak army and ISI of training and creating suicide bombers.
Reacting to a highly provocative and baseless report aired by the British media, the ISPR reiterated the losses suffered by ISI itself, mounting to 300 ISI losses, which is incomparable to any such losses suffered by any other global intelligence/security , in line of duty.
The ISPR declared the report based on total fabricated and baseless lies and said it was invented to malign the image of Pakistan Army.
He said more than 30,000 people had been martyred in this area and more than 5,000 officers and soldiers sacrificed their lives during an operation still going on in few areas.
He added that, while compiling such a report regarding an organisation, even responsible authorities of a global media source like BBC failed to observe ground realities and facts before airing the report.
