| LAHORE: Former Pakistan Peoples Party leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi who is embarking on a brand new political career has said that he was being barred from holding a gathering in Ghotki. He was talking to newsmen after holding a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind. He told media that he had handed Mian Nawaz Shrif his say on the current political situation. He said that his political line of action will come to fore in Ghotki on Nov 27. Having said that he also added that he will very soon meet with Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan. He demanded of the political leadership to hold a self-governing election commission. Commenting on memo controversy he said that what has been unfolded so far will take a long time to fold To a question Qureshi said Pakistan’s former ambassador to US Husain Haqqani did the right thing by taking an exit, now he’ll be in a better position to face inquiry. | ||
